The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse at DragonRidge Country Club is a two-story, 42,000 sq. ft. facility that majestically folds into the southern landscape of the Las Vegas foothills.
The dramatic forms of the copper metal roof give the building its in-flight image, while shading the structure with deep overhangs. Grounding the airborne structure are massive stonewalls, one of which is the major spine of the building and has a profile emulating the dragon ridge of the mountains. The color palette of the striking stonework on the building includes shades of violets and grays that melt gracefully into the somber background of the Black Mountains.
Inside the clubhouse, the soaring sensation is created by the high vaulted ceilings and large windows that span the facades and light the spaces poetically.
HCA Architects are as proud of the DragonRidge Clubhouse as they are of many other distinguished, award-winning commissions contained in their portfolio.
